Narrow V-belts for agricultural machinery

Modern agricultural machinery requires compact yet powerful torque transmission solutions. Narrow V-belts are the perfect balance between high load capacity and stable operation even in the most difficult operating conditions.

Compared to classic wedge models, narrow wedges have a reduced width and an increased angle of inclination of the side faces (36°), which allows transmitting 30–50% more power with smaller pulley dimensions. And the toothed (grooved) inner surface adds decisive advantages:

• Flexibility on small pulleys: the ability to work on small diameter pulleys without overheating and losing elasticity.

• Maximum traction: full synchronization of rotation without slipping even under sudden loads (starting the combine, turning on the reaper).

• Vibration resistance: thanks to the transverse rigidity, the belts dampen torsional vibrations, increasing the service life of the bearings.
